Below are the support groups that NAMI of Racine County offers locally. All of our offerings are in person with a few of them also offering an online hybrid option. Additionally, there are also MANY more support group options available online through other NAMI affiliates across Wisconsin.

Designed for ages 12-17, Teen Talk is led by teens and supported by adults including a licensed counselor who works with youth. This is not intended to be group therapy.

Specifically designed to support military veterans, this peer-led group connects active and former service members to each other in a safe space to share lived experience and learned wisdom.
These groups are closed to anyone who is not an active or veteran member of the military (Navy, Army, Coast Guard, Marine, Air Force).

LIFE HAPPENS!!!! It is a good idea to check our social media pages (Facebook , Instagram) before making the trip to the location where your support group is held. Our facilitators make every effort to ensure support groups meet regularly on the dates and times as listed above.
Please arrive approximately 5-10 minutes prior to the start of your group. For online HYBRID groups, the room should open 5-10 minutes before the group starts.
All support groups offered by NAMI Racine County are provided free of charge to participants. Donations are deeply appreciated.
All groups are facilitated by trained group leaders who have lived experience. These groups follow a structured format to ensure each person has an opportunity to be heard. If you have lived experience and would like to become a support group facilitator, please complete the volunteer application and request training to become a support group facilitator.
All support groups are confidential. We will not share the names of participants in any public manner unless a waiver form has been completed. However, if a person indicates they are at risk of harming themselves or another, NAMI Racine County reserves the right to contact the appropriate parties to maintain safety.
All support groups are restricted from having observers.
