Mental Illness Awareness Week

Taking place every year the first full week in October

Everyone has their own relationship with their mental health, but 1 in 5 adults lives with mental illness. That equates to more than 39,000 people in Racine County. Countless more are directly impacted: family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. This is why we celebrate Mental Illness Awareness Week—to raise awareness of mental illness, fight stigma, and encourage a compassionate community.
