2017 NAMI Bike 'n Hike Routes

Participant Options include: 10-, 20-, 35- or 60-mile bike routes through scenic countryside, with stops in historic Col. Heg Park, East Troy and Lyons.

Families will especially enjoy the 10-mile family route; or enjoy a 3K (1.9 mile) walk/hike through Waterford High School's ecology area & cross country course. 

All Routes Start/End

Waterford High School
100 Field Dr. Waterford, WI 

Support: 

Sag Wagons will be available throughout each route. Southeastern Wisconsin Harley Owners Group, Racine Chapter, will be at your beck and call for any support. Cell phone support also available. Aid stations will be available approximately every 15-20 miles with water, energy drinks and fruit. Lunch included after the event.

Rider Support/Rest Areas:

Aid stations will be available approximately every 15 - 20 miles with water, energy drinks and fruit. Lunch included after the event.

Walker/Hiker Support/Rest Areas:

High school cross-country students will aid & direct participants. An aid station will be provided halfway through the course. Lunch included after the event.

Road Markings:

Road will be marked with a "N" signifying directions at all intersections.

Start Times:

Ride:
Registration opens at 8 A.M.
60 miles (no later than 9 A.M.)
35 miles (no later than 11 a.m.)
20 miles (no later than noon)
10 miles (no later than 1 P.M.) 

3k (1.9 mile) walk:
All participants to the starting line at 11:00.
​The Football Game will be on starting at noon for those interested.

10-Mile Bike Route Description

A flat, family-friendly course takes you through downtown Waterford and then north on the bike trail (mostly finely crushed gravel) to Colonel Heg park and back. Relax in the beautifully shaded park and explore the historical buildings. Head back for lunch at the high school. ​

A flat, family-friendly course takes you through downtown Waterford and then south on the bike trail (mostly finely crushed gravel) through Case Eagle Park, Saller Woods to Burlington and back. Relax at Adrian's Frozen Custard and have a free cone compliments of NAMI Racine County. Head back and work up an appetite for lunch at the high school. ​

35-Mile Bike Route Description

A gentle rolling course takes you south of Waterford into Rochester, Honey Creek and into East Troy. A couple of fun hills will provide some exhilaration and require you to get off your seat! ​
